Villi's gwd solo drop log

Wait, you got 3 drops in 1 task?!

Yeh, just like at the top of page 32 in this log.

No drop this time around though, but I managed to break 2 personal records. Firstly I managed to do a kill using only 5 rocktails, my previous record being 8 rocktails. Secondly I managed to do 7 kills in one trip, my previous record being 5 kills. I could easily have continued on to 8-10 if I had brought more than 2 supreme overload flasks - in those 7 kills I namely received 5 brew/rest drops, 1 torstol seed drop and onyx bolts.

Here's what I had left after the 7 kills. I realized too late that you can't see the zaros kc.



EDIT: I also managed to do a true no-gear solo. In my previous no-gear solos I've always used aura + scrimshaw, and even amulet/ring/cape. None of that this time. Just 2 drygores and a shield. Surprisingly I lost the most food on the first phase. The ice and blood phases went relatively painlessly.

No Nex pet or off-hand Arma crossbow yet.

I had a rather lovely trip the day before Nex was buffed. I managed to do a kill using only 3 rocktails, breaking my previous record of 5 rocktails used. The kill after that required 7 rocktails.

For reference, i brought 1 teletab, 2 supreme ovls, 1 adren flask, 11 super restore flasks, 1 shield switch, 10 sara brew flasks, 2 rocktails and 30 rocktails in yak. Following pics are after each kill.

I found the thread! What an awesome drop log, it's given me the drive to finally go back to GWD after months of ignoring it. No wonder you walk around like Santa Clause.

Welcome! Have a look in the events section, we've got a nice couple of events there right now that could set you on your way to a santa of your own.

Mr. SN challenged me to solo nex using only 1 hand, without armour, without glasses and while twirling a baton with my other hand throughout the fight.

So I did it.

If anyone is any good at video editing, it would be awesome if you could help me with making these 2 videos into 1. Either by having the real-life one as a picture-in-picture or by playing them side by side.

Please excuse the lack of tricks during the video but twirling for upwards of 15 minutes at a time takes its toll on my hand so I tend to just do the easiest trick over and over.
