Hunter bot personal log (ButterbeanPL)

So, the time goes by and I was hunting (Grenwalls), never seen a player hunting, but then one day I log in and find out that player hunting on my spot.

I was like: ... a player here.
So I greet her and all the stuff, she kept hunting.

So I tried the bot-trick (lay down box trap where bot's are, and they'll try to pick them up or something).
It was bot.
I decided I'll check her/his HiScores as often as I'll be able to, and here are some results:

IN A MONTH (SINCE START OF THIS LOG), THIS BOT GOT JUST OVER 40M XPS. THIS IS APPROXIMATE 1.3M XPS PER DAY (APPROX. 14 HOURS OF GAME-PLAY PER DAY).

As you can see, this bot gets approximately 1.2-1.5M XPs per day (that's about 17-20 hours of play-time).
This bot also gains approximately 30-35M gp per day.
Another evidence: all her/his XPs logged on HiScores (updated) are ALWAYS rounded to xx,xxx,x41 XPs - how can real person do that...

However Jagex wont ban bots. They pay for their paychecks.

And sometimes I wonder why I don't bot.. I mean.. it's not like jamflex is doing anything about it..

I wouldn't bot, but if you don't bot in a way (excluding that 1% of people who get really REALLY lucky) you can't achieve almoust nothing.

Resource skills (such as WoodCutting, Fishing, Hunter, Slayer, etc.) don't make any reasonable money anymore.
One thing that is keeping resource skills alive are Bonus XPs weekends. - when resources are expensiver.

Shame.

I don't bot because I'm too paranoid I mean.. I was muted for joking with a friend about how much my account is worth..


But yeah, those resource gathering skills are... just not worth it anymore.

Me neither.

I was once muted for 48 hours (on other account), because one of my friend's name was: Hack031 and I replied to his statement: "I will Hack."
A Player-Moderator thought I'm going to hack someone lol...
Sad.

XPs gained in 5 days (31-Jul to 04-Aug) is 6M.

Quite an achievement.
If we know that you get approximately 1.8M gp per 100k Hunter XPs, we can calculate that this bot earned approximate 108M gp in just 5 days.
This value will go up once Bonus XPs Weekend will be announced.

Just sad.

I've been hunting grenwalls for the past 2 weeks. When they peaked at 1722 each, bots showed up. They showed up drastically hard. I have to switch worlds about 10 times to find an empty one. I report every bot I see (using box trick).

It's ridiculous.

Just some numbers I keep count:

138 Bots: 7
99 Hunt bots: 12
Max'd Player bot: 1
Random hunt lvl bot: 22


each count is a unique username. It's quite sad this can't be stopped. Especially butter. With the constant exp gains.



Also, when catching only grenwalls and pawya's, it's 1,100 and 400 exp. That's why it ends in 41.

Indeed, this needs fixes.

I don't know why they can't come up with a specific engine or system (scrypt) which could prevent most bots.
Maybe even whole new training methods and XPs/resource gains.
