I think this post would be more aptly placed in the complaints/rants forum.
The situation, from your screenshots, seems to have escalated very quickly, with both all parties reacting rather snappily and perhaps without giving the necessary tact for a sensitive subject such as this.
Regardless of how the individuals handled it, I think that when a member of the clan expresses that they are uncomfortable with a topic of conversation, the right (and mature) thing to do is respect that you are making that person feel that way and either cease or take the conversation elsewhere.
