The 10k challenge

I was challenged by Gladesa some time ago to chop 10k elder logs.

Anyway, during a conversation with Interrogates we figured we could make this a thing. So here goes.

The idea we had was that we challenge each other to obtain 10k of some resource all on their own. In order to challenge someone you need to have first received the 10k challenge and obtained at least 5k of the resource you're tasked with obtaining, then you can challenge a second person once you've reached the 10k mark.

Example: when I reached 5k elder logs I challenged Interrogates to fish 10k rocktails:

Now that I have reached 10k elder logs I may challenge another person and when Interrogates has reached 5k rocktails then he may challenge another person and another when he reaches 10k, and so on and so forth.

If you feel like you're up to undertaking such a humongous task then post in this thread (when there's someone available to give a challenge) and request one. Smile

The resource can be pretty much anything and is agreed upon by the challenger and the person receiving the challenge.

Barca has received his challenge. He will be able to challenge others when he has reached 5k and 10k respectively. Good luck!

What if someone doesn't meet requs to collect certain resource on their own?

I would assume they could just ask for lower lvl resources. Like if someone is challenged to collect rune ores, they could just be like "I'm only 80 mining, give me something else."

Is this challenge only for gathering skills, or could it also be like 'burn 10k maple logs'?

im assuming it would work for pvm as well like "collect 10k ourg bones" oh i sure bet that would be fun

I hope you limit your challenges to something fairly reasonable that helps the person out lol. Not something like... Make 10k redberry pies from scratch or mine 10k dragonbane ores. That would just be mean otherwise.

Of course. The resource to be collected is agreed upon by both parties, for example I suggested addy ores to Barca at first but he felt that would be too much of a hassle.
