In short they are switching to Html5 but the Java client is still available. They will be updating graphics and audio and they intend to make future quests have more freedom of choice for the player.

Personally I think it's a tad overdue. They should just have called EoC Runescape3. Furthermore while graphics may make a game pretty to look at it seems to me that that's all Jagex has been focusing on. Aside from Sof of course which they've updated on a weekly basis without fail ever since its release. But I digress, I would like to see more influencial updates than just graphics and audio. Something that may have an actual impact on the gameplay itself. Right now I fear this will just be a dressed-up version of EoC.
I like the bit about quests. It isn't a tiebreaker in my book or anything but yes, it'd be nice.

Aren't they introducing WASD movement and stuff with this too? Would be epic imo :3
It's good that its coming out tho, despite the later than expected. Maybe we'll see a skyrim style rs in the future!
