I've watched both Phantom and Les Mis in play version on video, in person and both in film ^.^
Phantom was good as far as film goes, but I think I like the play better. Loved the Phantom's actor, voice was absolutely awesome. Others were good, but he was the one who stood out in the film.
Les Mis about the same, though I was astonished at how well the actors sung. It was quite a treat I'd have to say.

I was used to counting and not stopping :c

ikr? when I first heard them singing, i thought 'nowai! they may not be as good as theatre ppl, but it was much better than what i had expected @Phon
