What do you think of the sof-update?

The update was about buying spins.

I do not like it all.

In my own humble opinion: it was an affront to the players. An atrocity the likes of which hasn't been seen since the 100%-sigil-drop-but-no-rollback story. Breaking their own rules for the sake of profit? Nice one Jublix.


I've been discussing quitting with a close personal friend of mine who also plays. We'll see how it turns out...

Oh and I believe Runescape Discussion: General would be a more suitable place for this topic?

I already sold everything as this is just causing everyone to panic sell everything and anything like idiots. wasting my hard earned cash because people can't use their brain. Not to mention how easy this game has gotten.

They sold themselves out.

Personally I can’t believe Jagex have done this. I have always had the highest opinion for the company and their decision for the game but this update is truly a disaster. If they really do care for the community they will remove his feature otherwise the game will see a decrease in players. Maybe you could argue they expect the game to die out and are trying to get what they can from it whilst it last? I don’t know, but if that is the case this update will speed that up.

Also, nice to see the Polls section being used

I´m happy to see that people take an interest in this subject I agree with all of your arguments. I mainly put up this poll to see really how much SN had reacted on this update.

BTW, that single vote on "I love it" was appearently a misstake, but he can´t change it to "I dislike it" because of my little fail with "no changing votes"
