How are you getting all these promotions? 0_o

Well as a teacher it isn't a real "promotion" in the sense of office work.

But I consider getting more pay as a promotion.

Basically I keep getting more classes assigned because more and more students are registering, which means I get paid more.

Yay!


Some updates:
Job is good and well.. but family health-wise things are not looking so good. My mother is getting checked for Alzheimer's and we just found a huge arachnoid cyst in my boyfriend's brain. I am extremely scared and I had to let it out somewhere.... tell me everything will be ok Nesties . He is meeting with a neurosurgeon and a neurologist next week and we are really hoping for some good news... plus it is so hard to find a good neurosurgeon in our city. I have told my bf to get the procedure done back home (States) but he isn't covered there since he left the US 3 years ago and as much as we hate it, money is an issue.


I wish my life wasn't so dynamic Nesties.. the past two years were so crazy for me.. .

Well I shall drop by again soon and hopefully with some good news then.

Gl with ur mom too. Alzheimers is tough dealing with, my grandpa had it for many years before he died. I hope ur mom doesnt have it, but it can progress quite slowly if it turns out she does. Will give you some time to adjust maybe.

Quick update:
Thankfully the cyst was benign. The neuro did a thorough check up, Ct scans and everything and reckons that his symptoms are coming from pressure on his spinal nerves, but not from the cyst. He couldn't make a specific diagnosis though. Bf still quite ill, tonsils were infected for the umpteenth time but this time it healed on its own, no anti biotics involved. New symptoms cropped up including pain in the chest and upper abdomen. But at least we don't have to open up his skull!

I need someone with 99 magic to heal him. Any volunteers?


Mom has yet to see the neuro.. hopefully we will get good news for her too.
